Well the Xmas Blog hop Winter 2014 is officially here!

Thank you to the lovely and talented designer Melanie Paul for the ‘hop’ :-). Please check out Melanie’s amazing blog where you can see her xmas designs and inspiring photos of her travels and family life.

All of the designers taking part in this blog hop are graduates from The Art of Business and Surface Pattern Design course and are from around the world. These courses have literally changed my life and have encouraged me to explore designing for myself and in my own style. Check out their website and all the Alumni great success stories.

So…… firstly I wanted to say thanks for popping by, I really hope my new designs get you feeling super xmasey and festive! Who doesn’t love xmas, right!?

I had so much fun creating these designs and there is so much subject matter to play with and you can go off in so many different directions. I have mocked up some presents, cards and gifts using my prints to showcase my ranges, so sit back with your cuppa and enjoy!

My first range is called ‘ Turtle doves’. Now as you may or may not know I am partial to a bit of brown paper! My eyes are just always drawn to this stuff and so I had to create a range using it. I love this and I am already imagining that wrapping paper on presents under my tree.

Secondly is ‘A Merry Little  Xmas’.  These designs are for those who like fun characters and colour in their xmas festivities. My little reindeer friend loves to have some fun decorating his antlers with baubles. Wouldn’t a real snow globe like this card be really cute?

and last but no means lease is ‘Bobbin Robin’. My favourite garden bird ( I think you can probably tell as he features in all of my designs 🙂 ) in his wreath of holly and berries.

So I need to pass on the Baton to the lovely Lindsay Buck who’s designs have been getting some press latetly! check out her great xmas designs on the link and follow the hop……..

I am off now to start my xmas shopping in Manchester, feeling lucky as I am only a ten minute train ride from this fab city.

I am going to get some of my cards printed for xmas so keep posted  for a xmas giveaway coming soon where you can win some to give to your family and friends.

Thanks again & best wishes,

Jo xx
